Anna Dickson is a Group Product Manager on Search at Google. Anna’s focus is on the visual content space and spans multiple work streams across Alphabet. Her background, paired with a keen interest in technology has allowed her to be thoughtful about changes in the visual landscape and build products that benefit both Google Users and Alphabet in the space of product development, machine learning and generative AI.

Anna’s product, The Licensed Media Service (LMS) has supported several product launches with visual content, including The World Cup, The Olympics, Google Flights, Elections, Google’s Knowledge Panels, and more.

Her most recent work includes the adoption of IPTC metadata to denote when an image has been generated from one of Google’s models.

Prior to Google, Dickson led photography teams at The Huffington Post, The Wall Street Journal and IHeartRadio.

 Dickson’s interests lie in the changing visual media landscape, our understanding of imagery, how we organize it, and how we utilize it to communicate worldwide.
